Artwork RequirementsARTWORK REQUIREMENTS Artwork not meeting specifications will incur an art preparation fee of $60.00 per hour with a one-hour minimum. Fleet will notify a customer if artwork does not meet required camera-ready specifications before cleaning any art. Preferred File Formats Note: Artwork created in another program and merely saved as one of these file extensions does not guarantee acceptable artwork [i.e.- a JPEG saved in Illustrator® as an "AI" file does not make it a vector file]. Submit all artwork via e-mail as vector files with all text converted to curves or outlines, the document color mode set to CMYK, and all colors called out as PANTONE® PMS® colors from the solid coated swatch palette. In preparation for plotted art, do not use strokes. If strokes are used in the creation of your file, they should be outlined. A resolution of at least 300 dpi is suggested for all JPEG's, and TIFF's [non-vector formats] when unable to send vector art. Files should be PC compatible and submitted to the correct e-mail address. Files submitted should be PC compatible. We can accept certain files generated on a Macintosh: AI, EPS, JPEG, and PDF. TIFF files will need to have their "Byte Order" changed to PC. Four Color Process Graphics for Large Formats - Preferred format: Photoshop CS2 in layers, Photoshop EPS and .TIFF (with LZW compression). Illustrator can be used with place files. If your files include placed images, the images must accompany the parent file. Placed source images must have enough resolution for final output. Send separate files for each side of vehicle. Indicate the scale in which they were produced or the finish size if not actual. Ideal resolution to work at is 56 ppi at full size (or 560 ppi at 1/10 size). Do not resample images to “increase resolution”. |
